DoD financial management
Who it binds
Anyone in a DoD financial management position covered by the DoD FM Certification Program.
What the rule is
The DoD FM Certification Program sets competency requirements at three levels and requires continuing education to maintain certification. Courses have to map to the DoD FM and leadership competencies in MyLearn.

What the rule is
FAI sets the certification and continuous learning requirements for the civilian acquisition workforce; DAWIA does the same for defense. Both require a fixed number of continuous learning points on a recurring cycle.

What the rule is
CFO Act agencies carry audited financial statements and the workforce requirements that come with them, including CPE for staff holding professional accounting credentials.

Auditors and evaluators in an OIG or any shop working under Government Auditing Standards.
What the rule is
GAGAS requires 80 hours of CPE every two years, at least 24 of it in subjects directly related to the government environment and government auditing. CIGIE sets separate quality standards for inspections and evaluations.
